Saintfield Community Centre Run by local volunteers from the community
Saintfield is located in County Down -midway between Belfast and Downpatrick. The village has grown over the years and the latest census (2011) indicated over 12 000 people living within a four mile radius of the village. With the growth of the population the need for a "Community Hub" was recognised back in 2007 and with help from our local council, the charity which is Saintfield Community Trust was created, premises were purchased and the facility is due to open in May 2019.
We invite local groups to come forward to use the centre and help make our own centre a success. Please come and view facilities by arrangement - phone Rachel on 07568268986
The centre can only be open and run with volunteer support from the local community.

The centre has been designed as a shared neutral space with a range of facilities to suit local sports clubs and organisations or individuals who need a space to interact with the local community. The latest in building technology has been used to create a carbon neutral building. Among the systems employed are heating panels on the roof, heat pumps and rain-water catchment to further reduce the running costs.
